Clark College of Science and Technology (CCST) hosted a fun and informative orientation event to welcome their newest batch of students, held at Robinsons Balibago on June 30, 2025, hosted by Sir Ross Ramirez. The orientation was not just all about sharing school policies and expectations but also designed to help students feel comfortable and excited about starting their academic journey and truly experience the joy of learning.
Multiple game booths from different organizations and a photo booth were set up for students to enjoy, headed by the CCST faculties with the help of their dedicated officers.
The orientation began with an opening prayer, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and an outstanding performance of the CCST Performing Arts, showcasing their talents in singing and dancing as a warm welcome to the new students.
Ms. Precious Maningas, the school’s administrator, gave the opening remarks, then spoke about the true value of learning and highlighted that in CCST, it is not just about experiencing the joy of learning but above all, experiencing the learning with discipline, determination, and compassion.
Academic policies, including the grading system and academic honors, were explained by Ms. Chriscel Ivy Caranza, the Senior High School Registrar, and Ms. Nicole Anne Esguerra, the Assistant Senior High School Registrar. Additionally, Mr. Arvin Mark Serrano, the School Principal, and Ms. Rochelle Mae Baluyut, the Assistant Principal, provided an introduction to the different academic tracks, discussed past activities, and introduced the Senior High School department’s various organizations.
The general rules, regulations, and policies were emphasized by Ms. Sharina Mae Dayrit, the Grade 11 Coordinator; Mr. Lance Austria, the Grade 12 Coordinator; and Ms. Airra Jane Infante, who listed the major and minor offenses together with their corresponding consequences.
The seminar concluded with an inspiring and heartfelt welcome video from the different teachers, administration, and CCST staff. The CCST family is excited to welcome and support the new batch of Clarkians this school year as they start on their educational journey.
