CCST Faculty Development: Preparation for the School Year 2025-2026

Clark College of Science and Technology held a two-day Faculty Development assembly for the faculty, staff, and administration on July 03 and 04, 2025.
This assembly was organized by one of the faculty members, Ms. Angela Marie Tundayag, with the aim of welcoming the new CCST faculty members and discussing various topics related to the preparation for the school year 2025–2026.
On the first day, Ptr. Caroline Santos, the guidance counselor of the school, talked about the proper way of counseling the students and how to properly handle different cases. After that, it was followed by a discussion on safety hazards in the workplace and some disciplinary actions by Sir Philip Ladrillo, the disciplinary officer.
The school administrator, Ms. Precious H. Maningas, also spoke about the school’s history and presented the staff and faculty. She additionally encouraged everyone to value their work because it is a gift from God to all.
The first day of the event came to an end with the newbies signing their contracts.
The second day of the event, July 4, 2025, began with a Zumba energizer led by the Physical Education teachers. It was followed by Sir Joel Domingo’s discussion, in which he covered the school’s rules and regulations, both minor and major offenses, and the benefits for the faculty and staff.
The Senior High School principal, Sir Arvin Mark D. Serrano, spoke on the topic “Experience the Joy of Teaching (The Clarkian Way).” He reminded everyone of the principles and mindset of becoming a Clarkian teacher.
Finally, Sir Ross Carvel Ramirez used the twelve (12) foundations to talk about emotional intelligence and soft skills. According to him, one of these qualities is flexibility and adaptability. A teacher should be able to take on challenges and opportunities that will help everyone grow.
